ELT branch of Unite the Union present a £250 cheque donated in solidarity to our brothers and sisters in Harland and Wolff, Belfast. Harland & Wolff Heavy Industries was a heavy industrial company, specialising in ship repair, conversion, and offshore cinstruction, located in Belfast Harland & Wolff is famous for having built the Titanic, Olympic and many more ships for the White Star Line company. However of 2011, the expanding offshore wind power industry has been the prime focus, and 75% of the company's work is based on offshore renewable energy.
